Pledge Rewards

A pledge is a specified amount of tokens that a user contributes to a proposal. Once the voting concludes, the creator will not receive their pledged tokens back. Instead, these tokens are distributed as rewards to the voters on the winning side.

Voters can choose to vote 'yes' or 'no'. At the conclusion of the voting, the side with the majority is deemed the winner. For instance, if a proposal receives 50,000 'yes' votes and 100,000 'no' votes, the 'no' side wins.

Suppose the total pledged amount for this proposal was 1 million tokens. Each voter on the 'no' side would receive a portion of this million based on their contribution. For example, if you voted 50,000 tokens on 'no', your reward would be 500,000 tokens.

To summarize, the pledge reward for each user is calculated as follows:

userReward = (userWinningVotes / totalWinningVotes) * pledgeAmount

The purpose of this mechanism is to incentivize participation. By attaching a pledge to your proposal, you can potentially increase engagement and gather more feedback from other $LZPZ holders.
